Global Moguls is an artist promotion, distribution and investment platform focused on the music and creative industries.
Are you a creative – a photographer, designer, filmmaker? An artist? A marketing genius? Someone with a passion for music? Interested in working in the music business?
If the answer’s yes……then Global Moguls is the launch pad for you: the musicians, the content creators, the designers, the photographers, the marketing geniuses, the video and film buffs, and ultimately the fans!
In an industry where talent is rife, but money is scarce, musicians need to be creative in their approach to the business of music. Talent is free, but almost everything else costs and this is the catch 22 many artists face – you need money to produce great quality tracks but no one will invest in you without you having a ready made fan base.
Global Moguls will be offering world-class reward opportunities for artists who build portfolios with us, through a Barometer of Benefits. The Barometer measures artists/creatives support and popularity (fan based), and rewards successful artists with worldwide digital distribution, PR & promotion and funding opportunities.
Highly talented creative individuals will be motivated to work with artists/bands if there is an incentive for doing so and it’s with this in mind that we have set up a system of rewards for content creators who collaborate with artists on the Global Moguls platform.
Artists and their creative teams collaborate to create a portfolio of work, with the artist taking care of the music and the content creators (creative team) managing the creative elements, which make up the portfolio of work. All music and content on the platform is supported by the fans, who sign up, vote and comment on the work. The fans ultimately hold the key to success.
Global Moguls aims to engage more intimately with fans than ever before, and we are launching an exciting “crowdfunding” scheme for fans and bands. This will ensure more artists can record high quality music for release and brings real fans into the creation loop as stakeholders in their band’s future.
At present Global Moguls is open in two territories, South Africa and the United Kingdom and we are excited to launch the new and improved campaign!
THE BANDS
Artists across all genres have an opportunity to shape their musical career and build up to becoming new global moguls, replacing the old-school ways with the new music model. In our music model, artists hold the keys to any future success and you can unlock it by engaging with fans and gaining rewards.
Global Moguls believes that the new industry will be shaped by digital distribution, high quality tracks, creativity across all elements of an artists online representation, promotion, live performances, touring and intimate fan engagement. We are offering artists world-class rewards through the Barometer of Benefits including – Worldwide Digital Distribution across 670 storefronts (across 76 regions), press and promotion and the opportunity to qualify for investment through “crowdfunding”.
Artists need to be unsigned and submit original music.
THE CREATIVES
The kings and queens of the content generation! You spin your creative web to attract and catch people’s attention. On Global Moguls you will be working with your chosen artist/band to create eye-catching pieces of creative content, while your marketing guru works to spread the word about what your team has created.
Content creators will be rewarded for excellence, whereby your work will be selected for rewards on the Creative Barometer of Benefits. Rewards will include cash, products and work placements.
Creative teams are made up of a team administrator and marketing person, a photographer, a graphic designer and a video team. Creative teams work in partnership with their chosen artist/band.
THE FANS
Real fans replace the need for A&R, by acting as the talent scouts for the new music model. The fans are the lifeblood of the music industry, if you discover new talent, you feel inspired and engage with this artist/band. We are moving into an era of more intense fan engagement where music fans have the power to mobilize their support to assist artists in recording their album/EP, drive promotion and get the recognition the band deserves. It is easier than ever for fans to discover, nurture and develop an artist simply by showing their support.
Fans are looking elsewhere for new and exciting talent, they are not relying on radio, or TV to bring them acts, but rather are discovering these acts themselves. We wish to bring fans in even closer and make them an intrinsic part of the new music model. Fans will be given the opportunity to become band funders/investors in our new “crowdfunding” opportunity.
