STEP BY STEP GUIDE

The Global Moguls platform is for bands + teams to collaborate. Follow these steps to get started:

• Individual registration - for creative's and band members
• Individual activation - every person will receive activation code in an email and they must activate their profiles individually
• Create a team/band -one person from the creative team or band does this
• Invite team/band members
• Team admin invites the band -they need to accept your invitation to be added to your collaboration

Global Moguls is a competition for collaborations, so once you have collaborated (band + creative team) this means you can upload your work and are visible on the site for voting.

Remember that the person who CREATES the TEAM is the administrator and uploads the tasks!

If musicians can do all the tasks themselves, they need to create a creative team and add their band (using a different email address).

TASKS & TIMEFRAMES

Collaborators on the platform will have the opportunity to upload creative content across the fields of music, photography, graphic design and music and other related videos.

Once artists and creative teams have formed their collaboration, they can start populating their portfolios. The Barometer will measure fans through a system of “likes” and votes. This allows the artist to qualify for the rewards on offer. This system also creates a leaderboard of the most popular pieces of work across the various categories. Through this leaderboard we will be rewarding top creatives with prizes for their work.

Rewards will be awarded quarterly for all creative work and for artists as soon as they reach the targets on the Barometer.

LEADERBOARD RULES

The leaderboard placements are as a result of popularity in terms of fan “likes” and a vote counter. This accounts for both the creative and artist Barometer of Benefits.

UPLOADING FILES

The maximum file size for any upload is 32MB.

HOW TO MARKET YOURSELVES

Fans are the lifeblood of this platform as they will be deciding which bands they support and believe in. The collaboration needs to recruit fans through viral marketing, utilising social media platforms such as facebook, twitter, myspace and Youtube, blogs and any other means to create awareness and promote their band. Bands must use their gigs as opportunities to promote themselves and the site.

Global Moguls relies completely on the opinion of the crowd to rate the competing bands and creative's, which allows them to climb the Barometer of Benefit and access rewards and opportunities. The number of votes, average ratings and comments will be displayed on their page.
